There’s something incredibly special about those early newborn days.
Everything is still new – the rhythm, the feeding, the settling, the way your baby already feels like they’ve always been part of you.
And in those early weeks, I find less is always more.
Less posing.
Less styling.
Less distraction.
Just your baby, exactly as they are.
My approach to newborn photography has always been simple.
I don’t rely on heavy props or complicated setups.
Instead, I focus on connection, softness, and the small details that change so quickly you almost forget they were ever that tiny.
The curve of their fingers.
The way they curl into your chest.
The quiet moments where everything finally settles.
These are the photographs that tend to mean the most later on.
WHY NO PROPS?
Props can sometimes take attention away from what matters most – your baby and your connection with them.
By keeping things simple, the focus stays exactly where it belongs.
On your baby.
On your family.
On this fleeting season of life.

WHAT THE SESSION FEELS LIKE
There’s no rush.
No pressure for your baby to “perform.”
We follow their rhythm completely – feeding, settling, cuddling when needed.
Most parents are surprised by how calm the whole experience feels.
