Worried your kids won’t cooperate?

You’re not alone. Most parents say this before their session.

The good news is they don’t have to.

My sessions are relaxed and flexible, and some of the best photos happen in the in-between moments. Kids can move, explore, cuddle in close or take a break when they need to.

No pressure. No perfect behaviour required.

Newborn Photography for Werribee Families

The newborn stage has a way of feeling both incredibly long and impossibly short all at once.

The days are filled with feeding, settling, learning your baby’s cues and adjusting to a completely new rhythm of life. In the middle of it all, it’s easy to tell yourself you’ll remember every tiny detail. The way they curl into your chest. Their wispy hair. The sleepy stretches and little yawns.

Then suddenly they’re changing.

That’s why so many Werribee families choose to document this chapter while their baby is still brand new.

My newborn photography studio is located in nearby Altona Meadows, making it an easy drive from Werribee and surrounding suburbs including Hoppers Crossing, Wyndham Vale and Werribee South. The studio has been designed specifically with new parents in mind, offering a calm, comfortable space where you can slow down and simply enjoy being together.

My approach to newborn photography is relaxed and connection-led. Rather than focusing on complicated posing or perfectly behaved babies, I focus on creating photographs that feel natural and meaningful. Images that remind you what these early days actually looked and felt like.

Parents and siblings are always encouraged to be involved. Some of the most treasured photographs from a newborn session are the quiet moments between family members – a toddler gently touching their new baby’s hand, a parent soaking in the feeling of holding their child close, or the way everyone instinctively leans in together.

Many of the families I photograph from Werribee first find me during pregnancy and return again as their children grow. From maternity sessions to newborn photographs, baby milestones and family portraits, my goal is to help families create a visual record of the moments that matter most.

If you’re searching for newborn photography in Werribee, I’d love to welcome you to my studio and help you preserve this fleeting chapter before it slips by.

FAQ

When should I book my newborn session?

The best time to book is during your second trimester or early in your third trimester.

Your actual session date isn’t locked in until baby arrives.

Booking early simply reserves space around your due date.

How old should my baby be?

Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first 1-4 weeks after birth.

What if my baby won’t sleep?

That’s completely okay.

My sessions are baby-led and allow plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles.

Beautiful photographs don’t depend on a perfectly sleepy baby.

Can parents and siblings be included?

Absolutely.

In fact, I encourage it.

These photographs are about your family, not just your baby.

What should we wear?

You’ll receive styling guidance before your session and access to my studio wardrobe, making outfit planning simple and stress-free.

How long does a newborn session take?

Newborn sessions are completely unhurried and allow plenty of time for feeding, settling, changes and breaks as needed.

Most sessions take around 2 hours so everything can flow naturally without pressure or rushing.

How far is your studio from Werribee?

My studio is located in Altona Meadows, approximately 20 minutes from central Werribee depending on traffic.
